This is a very big, comfortable 3-bedroom flat with a friendly host. It is 10 minutes' walking distance from the port. It is ideal for people looking for comfort and who do not spend much time in the neighbourhood. We left/ forgot some belongings in the flat, and the host shipped them to us.

The location is not ideal, even though everything is nearby and within walking distance. There is a poor view from the apartment. The host did not provide access to the lower elevator, so we had to carry heavy bags from the parking spot to the building entrance. It was not a problem for us, but it would be for seniors or families with babies. Parking is who gets it first, but you can still find a spot in nearby streets. There is an extra charge for bed sheets, towels, and cleaning (all in "small letters" when making a booking). These should be included in the rental price, as "masking" them out makes the apartment price competitive and visible when searching the Booking.com app. It is a sort of hidden cost, while it should be highlighted in bold letters. The host knocked at our door sharply at 1000 a.m., sort of pushing us out to check out the premises. A small amount of flexibility would make a huge difference.

It was spacious and close

I found it unusual to pay for towels and bed lining (5€ per each). There was no water or coffee / tea as a gesture of courtesy. MOKAs for coffee were not clean. The bar on Sunday morning was closed, not easy to get a breakfast around the place. The street was a bit noisy as it is suburban area. It was not easy to reach the station.

Host very nice!

The rooms are spacious and tidy. The beds are comfortable. There is a walking distance super market called BASKO. The house is not quite far from La Spezia train station. It’s about 30 minute or less on foot. The owner is very nice and his mother is very kind and warm-hearted.

It would be nice to get some printed (English) information about transport to train station and other places. We were greeted by a nice lady, but speaking only Italian. Because of that we spent a few days investigating how to get best to the train station - which is very close, but only if you go by a certain bus. And you need train to get to all Cinque Terre places... Additionally please be aware, that thought there is lift in the building itself, you have to go two fligts of stairs to get to the building entrance. We could use the lift for handicapped persons on the arrival and departure days (special token needed) but not at other times. It may be a problem for some people.

Large Spaces, comfy even for 8 ppl. Clean and good Location, Parking place

Paying extra for bedsheets and towels is strange for me but too good to complain
