If you're lucky enough to be in Positano, you're lucky enough… This location has some of the most spectacular views we've ever seen, plus you're high enough up so that you're not amidst the tourist throngs; of course, the cost to that is that the location comes with more stairs. Like, many more stairs -- maybe 20 flights up from the beach (and be prepared for 3 flights once you enter the front door from the street). But there is a huge payoff once you're up those stairs, as the lovely furnishings, the dependable A/C, and the terrace in particular, are worth the climb! The first level, which is off the terrace, has an eat-in-kitchen and separate living room w/the sofa bed that has doors that can close it off for privacy, plus the bathroom. Upstairs is the main bedroom and another with a double and twin bedroom and a bathroom that is shared between the bedrooms. It's lovely, comfortable and views abound.

Be aware to let the landlord know if you plan to use the pullout sofa bed so that bedding is provided (they don't keep extra sheets in the unit), so we had to make do for one night, even though when we asked the nice man who checked us in where we could find linens for the sofa bed, he assured us the bed was made inside -- but it was not. FYI there were some ants in the first floor bathroom (none in the kitchen though), but you're in Positano, and they apparently come with the territory… The Wifi doesn't work on the second floor and only works intermittently at best on the first floor (we asked the landlord if there was a way to refresh it or if there was a trick to it, but didn't get a response). The view and accommodations were too sweet to let anything really bother us however. : )

Good location, beautiful view, and spacious

Wifi/ signal in general is terrible, the property is also outdated and overpriced. Further, the “hottub” advertised is a tub with dirty jets. This was our last stay in Italy (after two weeks of seeing different cities), the host was quite rude both during check in and check out. Each stay prior to this we were able to drop luggage early and/ or check in earlier but when asked Isabelle was very unhelpful and rude. Also checkout states anywhere between 10am - 1130am. We were TOLD the night prior to be out by 10am max as the maids will be there and unhappy if we were not out. While I did disagree with this and ultimately was able to check out at 1030am (we had a car service at this time), the host was again rude and unhelpful. Positano is beautiful - save your money and your peace by staying elsewhere.

Fantastic view and roomy inside

It would be good if the shower upstairs could have a bracket on the wall rather than hand held only. No Instructions for use of coffee machine. No Provision of tea towels and soap.
