Boudoir degli Orti, Unconventional Stay in Borgata, Siracusa

Location, facilities, the kindness of the host. Everything was great.

Absolutely everything had been thought about to ensure you had a great stay. Just turn up with a suitcase and toothbrush! Best equipped accommodation we have ever stayed in, even an umbrella, picnic hamper! Fresh oranges supplied, nuts, jam, water, juice. Shops nearby supplying a type of food you may need when self catering. Only a short walk into Ortigia where it all happens!!

Walls quite thin. Some renovation work in nearby apartment. Some dogs a bit noisy.

The apartment is really well equipped and though the kitchen space is small you will hardly miss anything. The bed was quite comfortable too. Everything was clean. Sonja is an amazing host - helped us out so much!!! We thank her for her kind heart 💜

The location is a bit scary at first - but we didn’t have any bad experiences. It is a short walk away from Ortigia and from shops if you wish to get groceries. The neighborhood is not touristy. Beaches are tiny and dirty.

A nice quiet spot with plenty of free parking. Check in was easy and thorough informing us about all the facilities. The space is very modern and even more beautiful than the photos, so opulent and comfortable. I was impressed by how well stocked it was from kitchen facilities to outdoor equipment such as cooler bags and beach umbrellas which is very handy! Its only a short walk to Ortiga island but removed enough to give us more of a chill, local feel of Siracusa + lots of yummy panino trucks around here too! I would stay here again on return, we were very happy with this stay!

Great stay and very lovely host. Not the classic holiday apartment, way better. Spacious, quiet and very comfortable. Even more beautiful than in the photos. Free parking around the apartment. Great amenities and a bottle of wine for welcome. Supermarkets and bakeries are close by. Great Bakery Fornaia and fanstastic small restaurant Ammucca in walking distance. Walk to the island in 10 minutes

The apartment was really good, the bed exceptionally cosy, very good kitchen and equipment. The bathroom brand-new, comfortable living room and overall very spacious. The lighting in the rooms with indirect light is a tiny but very important detail to feel comfortable - well done! Free parking on the street, very close to Ortigia Sonia even prepared a tomato sauce & pasta for us to use, along with a bottle of prosecco!

It is a personal thing but we don't like cold tile floors at all generally. Since there a no carpets in the room, we had cold feet most of the time. Sometimes you could hear the neighbors.

Lovely property, beautifully decorated and very well equipped

Great apartment with interesting decor, very well furnished. Met by the host and shown around, great shower, comfy bed, super clean, peaceful location and a short walk to Ortigia. Wine and water provided and easy walk to local shops and restaurants. Great communication from the owner to make sure we had a good stay offering restaurant recommendations.

we enjoyed our stay - nothing to dislike

Sonia’s place is beautiful, so tastefully decorated (came away with some ideas for home!) and incredibly well equipped. We unfortunately had our luggage stolen from our rental car before arriving in Siracusa, and despite the stress of our situation, we found that having a lovely, comfortable place to stay with a washing machine and well equipped little kitchen really helped. Sonia was so gracious when she found out what happened and offered to help with whatever we needed. The apartment is just a short walk from the Ortigia which we managed to enjoy for a day or two. Would definitely recommend.
