The hike to get to the appartement.

The view of the lake and the little garden up front was lovely. While trying to go up the staircase, my 70+ years father had a little fall and accidently broke one of the wall plates in the apartment, but Paolo was very understanding about it. The location is close to Menaggio - around 10 min drive. So convenient to hop on to the ferry from there.

1. The kitchen really needs to be better equipped, there were many missing items which are needed to be able to cook a meal and clean up later 2. For some reason, the house-maid had entered the home while we were away and had taken away the heater batteries. We found it weird for anyone to enter the house considering we were not informed of the same and nor did we see any cleaning done, so not sure what was the purpose of her to enter the house unannounced? 3. It was difficult to find the apartment, however Paolo made up for it by staying on the phone with us and guiding us till we reached it 4. Pls note, it takes a bit of walking on a slope and some staircases to reach the parking from the apartment. Especially since we had senior citizens and big bags, that was some hassle for us

Wir waren rundum total zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt und haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Der traumhaft schöne Ausblick war der Hauptgrund, warum wir uns für diese Ferienwohnung entschieden haben – und wir wurden definitiv nicht enttäuscht. Es war einfach wunderschön. Die Wohnung bietet alles, was man braucht. Auch zum Kochen war alles vorhanden, sodass man problemlos mal in der Unterkunft essen konnte. Alles war sauber und gepflegt und der Kontakt mit dem Gastgeber war jederzeit sehr freundlich und herzlich. Die Lage ist ebenfalls perfekt: Man kommt sowohl schnell runter ans Wasser als auch hoch in die Berge – wir haben beides genutzt und es war einfach traumhaft. Auch die Parksituation war überhaupt kein Problem. Oben gibt es ausreichend Parkmöglichkeiten und bei Bedarf wurde sogar angeboten, mit dem Auto noch zum Ausladen des Gepäcks herunterzufahren. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können die Unterkunft absolut weiterempfehlen!
