Great location right in the city,lovely room and new modern bathroom all very clean,bed very comfy,small kitchen with all you need ,complimentary water,tea,coffee, small balcony with view to courtyard but beautiful for watching the sunsets or just sit and relax and most importantly kind and very helpful owner ..we loved our stay . Very clean and cozy

The apartment is small but well-furnished and has everything one might need for a short holiday. Its right at the end of the main promenade in lower town, with lots of restaurants and bars + a grocery store just 100-200m away, and at the same time it’s very quiet as in overlooks an inner courtyard. This is one of the few available apartments in Bergamo with a balcony which we always prefer as we smoke. There is even a limited view at Citta alta over the rooftops. Sandro is a great host, responds fast and was very helpful.

I enjoyed my stay overall — the apartment was clean, well-decorated, and matched the photos. It had character, a thoughtful interior, and the location was perfect. Wifi worked well, communication with property seemed easy. However, one aspect really surprised and frustrated me. The late evening before check-out, I received a message stating that, as a rule of staying in the apartment, guests must throw away their trash themselves — sorted into different bags, with a map of where to dispose it. While I understand the importance of recycling and respect for cleaning staff, this kind of request is unreasonable when you're paying to stay in a property listed on Booking. Especially when you're rushing to catch an early flight. It felt inappropriate to place that responsibility on guests at the very end of their stay — particularly without any clear upfront communication during booking. This rule is also not mentioned in the house rules on the Booking website. This should either be optional or clearly stated in the apartment listing before booking — not as a surprise message the evening before check-out. Hotels and most rentals include waste disposal as part of their service — and I expect the same when paying for accommodation. Then, after I checked out, I received another message from the property saying that they "don’t usually apply penalties" but that it’s something they care about "out of respect for cleaning staff." That phrasing felt passive-aggressive — essentially a veiled threat of fines for not doing something that should fall under their responsibility. If you don’t want to penalize guests, don’t imply it. And if it’s that important, it should be part of the listing — not a last-minute pressure message when it’s too late to prepare. A lovely apartment, but this policy and the way it was communicated really left a bad final impression.

Everything was great, close to main attractions, quiet (except for the church bells that wake you at 7:30 😄). Good communication with owners

Wasn’t a big problem, but had to take out the trash. Personally we would like more kitchen facilities, like glasses for wine, but the pots were new, had salt and some spices, so you cannot expect everything.

The location

It wasn’t as clean as I expected. There were noises during the night from the neighbors and the heating system, we woke up multiple times during the night. The towels were quite worn out. The room itself was dusty and visibly worn.

great location, amazing hosts! The bed was big and there was a balcony which was amazing :) Good restaurants nearby. The apartment is on a street that is usually quite loud, however once you enter the building you can’t hear that at all! Church bells wake you up at 7 AM everyday so you don’t have to turn on your alarm to be up and sightsee! :D

There were some issues with the power, not every light could be turned on, the water took a long time to heat in the shower and sometimes was randomly hot. The water heater was also quite loud which may be an issue if someone is a light sleeper. For me all of that was just one small disadvantage in all the advantages the place has.
