Atrani House-AMALFI Sea View

fantastic little townlet on the Amalfi coast, what an absolute GEM. Heaps of steps to get fill your lungs and get your heart pumping. Great restaurants, cafes, bottegas. The locals were very accommodating and Amalfi was a handy little 10 minute walk, and the other towns were just a bus ride away. We really enjoyed our time in Atrani and at Atrani House and would definitely recommend Atrani House, sorry for breaking one of your wine glasses.

Bed was a little hard.

El pomo de la puerta de entrada se caía, la puerta del mueble de la televisión se caía, algunas luces no funcionan, los enchufes no funcionan bien de noche, el agua muchas veces no calentaba, no hay la terraza de las fotos, el papel de cocina estaba sucio (manchas marrones) la cadena de la cisterna va mal, la wifi no funciona y no hay cobertura.

Connessione Internet quasi assente! Da migliorare un po’! Il letto non era matrimoniale ma 2 materassi singoli uniti, frigorifero assente, c e il decoder di Sky ma provando e riprovando non si vede nessun canale! Sinceramente avendo prenotato una suite mi aspettavo un po’ di più!

Great view from the shared terrace, comfortable accommodation. Lovely little centre with some nice restaurants and a little fruit shop.

Steps to the property are very steep so wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. We also struggled after a days walking

HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND PEOPLE TO BOOK. 1. Misleading Location and Excessive Stairs: The map on your app indicated the property was near street level, but the actual address requires navigating countless stairs, which was not adequately disclosed. This made access extremely challenging, especially with luggage. While the property mentioned a “taxi” service for heavy bags, no such assistance was available, and the stairs rendered this impractical. This discrepancy significantly impacted my experience. 2. Inadequate Air-Conditioning: The air-conditioning unit is not functioning properly, providing little to no cooling despite being operational. During the current heat wave in Italy, the indoor temperature remains at 28°C, making it uncomfortable to stay in the property, even during the day. I found it cooler outside than inside, which is unacceptable given the advertised air-conditioning. 3. Unprofessional Host Behavior: When I attempted to discuss a refund, as advised by your team (noting that the host’s agreement would allow a full refund without their financial loss), the host was uncooperative and rude. She dismissed my concerns, spoke to me in a hostile manner, abruptly ended our call, and ignored subsequent attempts to contact her. She has since blocked me on the chat platform, refusing to address the issues or engage with Booking.com’s refund process. This behavior is highly unprofessional and has worsened the situation. Although the host offered partial refund, Since the room is not in affordable temperature, we had to leave and book another accommodation in a much higher price. If you want to spend your time dealing with the accommodation issues during your holiday in Amalfi, welcome to book this accomodation. CUSTOMER SUFFERS!!

Excellent staff. Clean and functional property. It has a lot of charm and a great rooftop deck where we dried our clothes and took in the views. A/C kept the rooms cool. Very little outside noise. The relative proximity to Amalfi was great if you can find the walking tunnel.

Be aware that in summertime, if taking the ferry in to Amalfi, that the walk is hot and can prove difficult for some people (several hills and many steps). The host provides great directions to the front door but those who are directionally challenged may get lost. The place doesn’t have a lot of common spaces to stay in, but we don’t rent these places to stay inside, do we?
