Dolcevita Chianti Apartments

Simone is a really friendly host, who provided delicious pastries for breakfast for the first days (when he could and was in town). He is extremely helpful and fast in answering questions. The apartment has great views into the surrounding landscape, it is very clean and the high ceilings and fans make it pleasant also during hot June days. Radda is a very small historic villages, which was quickly explored. There is a large amount of restaurants, who cater mostly to the tourists, who use Radda for a stop over. In our view, the dining was great for people who love eating meats, but had less to offer in variety and little choice for people who like diverse or vegetarian meals. Finally, one must have a car and then it is fun to explore the Chianti Region. Without using the car each day would have been too boring for us. A drive to Florence or Arrezzo is roughly 70-90 min away. Meaning one has to organize the long windy drive and plan lunches and dinners carefully to manage around the Italian Siesta.

Fresh croissants for breakfast and helpful owner.

Simon was an exceptional host. he met us at the location to show us the room and handover the keys. He was super easy to communicate with and very responsive on WhatsApp. Simon also personally made arrangements at a vineyard for a wine tasting that blew us away. he brought us croissants in the morning and we woke up they were at the door. Our room was a full size apartment with a kitchen and large table that can seat 4-6. Kitchen was fully functional, fridge was pre-loaded and it was the size of a one bedroom apartment. The bedroom and bathroom had amazing views. Everything was super clean. Very good value, right in the center of Rada,

Charming first floor apartment with lovely views over the courtyard and surrounding countryside. Simone,our host, went out of his way to welcome us and make us feel as comfortable as possible. He kindly helped us with the parking situation and our luggage on arrival and departure! Each morning he delivered fresh brioches from the bakery for our breakfast.

The property is accessed by a steep slope from the centre of town. Parking can also be difficult in the town at busy times

Very helpful facilitator. How wonderful to have warm brioche’s delivered to our door each morning, and fresh fruit and coffee available!

A little challenging to walk up hill and then steps, but the beautiful view made it worth the effort!

Very little. The sofa bed is not the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in. For the rest everything was super !
