The Nest

We loved the location; very near to everything. We liked how peaceful the apartment was and sitting on the little balcony was really relaxing.(amazing view) Stefano and Carla recommended a couple of restaurants which were excellent and very near the apartment. We loved our short stay in Grosseto. The apartment was very well-equipped and although we didn't cook in the little kitchen (as there wasn't time) we certainly could have done.

The 60 stairs up to the apartment might not have been so great if we had had bad knees but we just decided they were keeping us fit and hardly noticed them after a couple of days!!

WiFi is low, and especially in the bedroom.

We loved The Nest. The whole experience was nice from beginning to end. Communication from Clara and Stefano was so friendly, we didn't get to meet unfortunately. I hope next time. The apartment is lovely, perfect location, right in the old town, plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Great for a couple. Loved the balcony overlooking the walls, enjoyed sitting out there and watching the world go by. And the little stove to heat the kitchen was so cosy and nice on an evening. We really appreciated all the small details, with it being a beautiful, historical building. Also, it was great being able to use the kitchen (plus all the extra things like oil, herbs etc and all the little cakes and coffee! Thank you!) and as we were hiking during our trip, it was great to be able to wash our clothes in the machine provided. I would like to live there! A really great stay. Thank you again! Very nice and cute apartment, the location is absolutely the best. The little balcony and some small details made our stay very enjoyable.

There is no elevator and the stairs are a bit tricky especially if carrying big luggages. WiFi was not working in the bedroom.

Amazing location within medieval city wall but also 20 minutes to gorgeous beaches. Best of both worlds culture and recreation.
