Mira Vico Apartments

We had a lovely stay in our apartment, the Place was very clean and had all our needs. Including a coffee machine and all cooking appliances. The view was amazing, bed was comfortable. Giulia was an absolutely amazing host, she helped us with anything we needed. She went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. Highly recommend!!

Lovely view of the sea and the bay of Naples. And the apartment is very well equipped! Perfect match for my stay. Giulia came to pick me up at the train station and even got beignets for breakfast. Her family is very kind and gave helpful advice. There is a big supermarket nearby and connected by bus to the train station.

Great place to stay near Naples and Sorrento. Convenient access to places of interest by public transport. The city of Vico Equense is beautiful and interesting, it is worth visiting it, taking a walk, feeling the rhythm of Italy. The hostess is very caring and friendly. He tries to help in all matters. The apartments are very nicely and comfortably furnished. They had everything you need and the view from them is stunning.

The road leading to the property is very small and around a 25 min walk to the centre. There were no taxis in the town. The door between the two apartments had little acoustic properties. We heard the downstairs family’s child playing and screaming very loudly. We could hear everything from next door, even phones playing videos etc. this disturbed our sleep well into the night. The hot water was also lukewarm warm, I had to adjust the temperature on the boiler outside myself.

The apartment was misrepresented by booking. We were booking 2 beds and there was only 1.i had to sleep on a very uncomfortable couch for 6 days. The apartment did not have any toiletries which were listed in the description. The worst was the location from the train station was about 2 miles on a very steep uphill climb not 2600ft as listed in the description. There was basically no bus or taxi service. If we were lucky to find a bus we had to wait hours. Luckily a local person told us of a steep down hill walk to town about 1 1/2 miles. You could not walk on the road to town because there were no shoulders and many fast cars. The It also listed a washer and there was none. There were no instructions concerning garbage or any suggestions of the area and how to get around. My friend got locked out and no one was available for 4 hours to let her in. She was accosted by 2 men that tried to pick her up. When she got let in there was dog poop in front of the door she had to pick up.
