La Musa

Felix and Ursula are a true delight! Both were very friendly and gave brilliant recommendations for food and things to do in the area. They balanced being the hosts while allowing you to feel free to enjoy your stay perfectly! The pool was lovely to cool off in the sun and the gardens are beautiful. The pizza place (il mattatoio) only a 10 minute walk up the road is a must!

Our only negatives were the couch wasn’t too comfortable and the shower temperature was a bit erratic.

The property pool and garden are amazing. The owners are polite and courteous. They have a lovely vegetable garden and gave us some fresh tomatoes.

The property is far from Leirici and basic services, we had to use the car or bus for everything. The apartment we got was small and did not have a lot of natural light, specially in the bedroom. During the period we rent (Aug/23) there were a lot of mosquitoes what forced us to have all the meals inside what was not very pleasant. We were travelling with a 2 years old baby and the owners decided to have a party in the pool area (dinner and night). We totally understand the owners need to socialise and party, but they should ensure the guests are ok with it (before booking) or they should close the guest house for that night. Finally, we were not able to pay with card and were noticed in the last minute, while receiving a non fiscal receipt.

The garden , the pool is nice but it was not full or completely clean

The apartment is nothing luxury but simple and that’s ok but you at Least need to get a good Sleep. The bed is uncomfortable and the sofa bed that they set for my daughter was extremely small and hard like a rock. It was really disappointing cause it looks like an amazing place… the hosts were really nice, so it’s sad to give a bad review but it’s the reality. Not worth the price for me. And it also important to know that booking will not charge your credit card, you will need to pay with them. I didn’t know this and when we left they send me a message asking me to make the payment the options were to go back or wire the money.. what I did with a fee from my bank of $15 dlls. ☹️ I think they should let you know this as soon as you arrive so you can get the cash and pay in person.

Urschi and Felix really does the difference at an already wonderful place. They are outstanding as hosts and we would love to come back anytime. Our recommendations to everyone who wishes to see Cinque terre and the surroundings.

This place is an absolute delight! Don't hesitate to book here if you're looking. The owners are very friendly and super helpful. We stayed in the Talia room. The apartment is just lovely, we especially love the bed which is really, really comfortable. The kitchen is the first genuinely "fully equipped" kitchen we've ever encountered in a holiday apartment! The wifi is strong and fast as is the air con. The outside area is glorious, the garden is amazing, there are loads of little nooks to sit in and then there is a pool. Who doesn't love a pool!?

No complaints here.

- Beautiful accommodation in ancient mill house with a tropical garden with exotic and rare plants and trees - Nice swimming pool with comfortable chairs, enough for all the guests. Most of the time there was nobody at all. - Appartment was big enough for a family with 2 little children - Close to Ligurian coastline with pittoresque villages such as Sarzana, Tellaro, Lerici and Cinque terre. Also Genova is only one hour drive

-I would not recommend this apartment (second floor) to families with little kids, the marble stairs are steep and slippery and therefore unpractical. a ground floor apartment would be better - the accommodation is situated directly next to a very busy road. Therefore it’s impossible to make a walk outside the venue, unless you’re planning to die an early death at a Ligurian coastal road. - The room wasn’t cleaned during our stay (6 nights). There is no washing machine, we had to ask for new towels and bed sheets and were even charged extra when we asked for new towels the second time. - Payment was only through international wiring, no bank or credit cards were accepted. Rarely old fashioned and unpractical. - no charging point for electrical cars.

La Musa is a nice place to stay for a few days. The Garden is great, the pool is small but nice. The owners are very helpful and kind.
