This apartment is right in old town Spello, the location is top notch, we just walk to explore the old town. Follow Walter's instruction to stop by the cafe a few door down to pick up your key (his daughter works there). We stayed for the infiorate and parked a little outside the town, then walked in town to meet Walter. Once you're in town, you no longer need your car. The apartment has a small living area, bathroom and a bedroom. The window from the bedroom has fantastic views of Umbria. Small but very comfortable, you can't expect a very large house in old town anyway. Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at Smeraldo in Spello and the view was just beautiful. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean, the bathroom is big and modern. It's just a short walk to Bar Giardino Bonci for breakfast (included) with more gorgeous views from the terrace. Walter was very welcoming and helped us to find a place to store the bikes we rented. Spello is a gem and we loved cycling to Assisi and nearby towns.

First of all, the setting was amazing. The apartment itself was great : clean, spacious enough, very well located and the view was to die for. Walter was a very nice and welcoming host and made us feel right at home right away, no stress, everything was laid back. The restaurant where you have the included breakfast, the Bar Giardino Bonci, has an amazing view as well. All in all, we had a terrific time in Spello, which is an amazing town.
