Det ligger sentralt til - bare noen minutters gange fra hovedgata - men i et stille og rolig område.

Paola was the perfect host greeting us upon arrival and showing the house and giving tips on what to do. She even offered us free tickets for a film at the ancient amphitheater as part of the film fest. Furthermore, as we were flying back in the evening and she had no guests until following day she let us check out late which solved a lot of problems for us. What we didn’t realise when we booked was how convenient it was for all the restaurants and bars. Despite only being 100m away the street was very quiet and so sleeping was not an issue which was needed after the trekking to the beautiful Castelmola, around Taormina and down to the beaches (Isola Bella is stunning but buy the 10 Euro water shoes to make bathing easy). All in all a very relaxed place, lots to see and do but does require a good general fitness as there isn’t so much walking around on the flat throughout the town which is also why it’s such a charming town.

Three floors requires a lot of running up and down the different flights and especially when you forgot where eg you put your sunglasses but again not an issue for us. People who are less mobile may see this as an issue though

Close to town, but very quiet. Lovely terrace to sit out on. We didnt cook but all facilities therw to be able to. The host met us and provided maps and recommended some things to do around town.

Honestly nothing- stairs are unavociable in Taormina, and the host wven helped getting luggage up. There was a sofa bed downstairs that can be used if people cant get up the stairs

Perfect location. Loved the layout. Very accommodating host. Fantastic base for Taormina. Would highly recommend.
