The bed was fine. There are a lot of good bars and restaurants in the area

The apartment was cold. We asked the owner regarding the heating and he told us that everything is centralized and we should ask him every time to increase the temperature if we need it. There were no duvet available even though it was December, just 2 blankets. If you have problems with the cold as I do, definitely this is not your place! I slept with my clothes on. The building is very noisy during the day so if you want to rest, you will not be able to do so. Attached to the apartment is a DHL office and people are going in and out, speaking loud out and slamming the door, so it was impossible for me to rest before 18h. The biggest problem was the shower. The water is heated by the electrical heater and regulated with a thermostat that didn’t work properly so you have two options-either to burn yourself or to take a cold shower when the warm water finishes.

Our apartment was tidy, had an airconditioner, cafe machine, and the bathroom had towels, soap, toilet paper and shower gel, wich was enough for our few first days. It was really hot outside in July but was bearable with the airconditioner and with keeping the roller-blinds down. We walked about 40 minutes to get to the Bari Central station, wich was fine for us. There was a Coop nearby with good prices.

The airconditioner was loud so we couldn't use it during the whole night, we used it before going to sleep. The neighborhood was really noisy, altough it was far from the central. Early mornings started with reconstruction work and during the night there were loud people on the street and a lot of motorbikes, but I guess it's normal for southern Italy.
