"Disappointed and unfair"

I was disappointed and annoyed. I had specifically booked and PAID for ( in April) the 2 bedroom apartment in February. I also got a confirmation on 09.02.2023 with this information. Then when I arrived on 03.05 I was given the 1 bedroom apartment....I tried to explain and I showed her the confirmation. But unfortunately language was a problem. The lady Marzia and her husband were friendly and quickly turned the sofa into a bed...which of course meant we had no sofa for sitting on. I then realized the apartment La Civetta had been rented out to two young workmen who enjoyed staying up very late at the weekend ...to 4 oclock ! If I had been informed of this change to the apartment beforehand I could have cancelled it...
