I really appreciate the cleanliness of the apartment. It was spotless. The bed was firm, the pillows and towers were comfortable and laundry fresh. Apartment size was spacious, airy and bright. Love the simple decoration and colors of the apartment. Bathroom is bright and dries quickly because of the natural ventilation from the window. The kitchen is spotless and very clean. The parking lot is great - it is private and we felt safe. We appreciate the app that manages the keys to the apartment and gates. Location is great - walking distance to a supermarket, a few restaurants and the lake nearby. The hostess was kind enough to prepare a few recommendations of the local attractions nearby, which we took and it turned out to be great!

The apartment (Pinta D'ora) is on the ground floor, with the main windows facing the street. It gets noisy with traffic sounds. Every so often you'd hear a loud droning sound from a giant compressor of some sort right next to the window, even during sleeping hours. The bathroom shower stall is incredibly tiny, with no ledge to place soap bottles. The only place you can place your bottles are on the floor. The parking lot to the main door is quite a distance. You'd need to take a few steps uphill - so if you have heavy bags it is quite a challenge. We managed the issue by leaving the bags at the front side gate before driving the car in - but if it rains it is extremely challenging. Happened to us when we left for the airport on the last day. You and your bags will be wet when you load up the bags into the car. There is not enough recycling bins in the apartment. There is only one bin under the kitchen sink which we assumed is for general waste?? All the others (paper, glass, plastic) has to be taken to the common recycling area which is in the carpark area which again - it is a long way from the apartment. It is fine on sunny days but if you have to close up the apartment and it is raining at that point in time, it is incredibly stressful.

An immaculate property! Beautifully and tastefully restored historical building. The apartment has every modern convenience. A home away from home. We will be returning for another visit. The owner was always available to answer any questions.

The doors were all controlled by electronic entry so we were confused at first! Eventually, it was very easy to use.
