Casa Consy

The apartment is gorgeous, the pictures do not do it justice - what you can see on the pictures is how how the ceiling is. Probably around 4 meters, it is so breezy. Of course, location is incredible right on the waterfront of marina grande. The owner left lovely jams, bread, French toast, water for us in the apartment. It was a nice touch. Beautiful place would highly recommend, and I would love to return.

The views were excellent. Mt Vesuvius could be seen from all of the windows. Just beautiful! The owner met us there and was very nice.

The beds were very uncomfortable. You could feel the springs. Also, there is a bar/restaurant right outside the apartment and it’s loud until late in the night. Not the owner’s fault, but it was an issue.

Host was helpful and gave clear instructions.

The location is next to restaurant kitchens so you do smell the fumes and hear the noises from the kitchens. The sound insulation from the doors/windows was poor and we heard everything from the scooters, pedestrians, restaurants. Cleanliness of the rooms and toilets could have been better.

The location was excellent, and the place was clean on our arrival. The host met us with keys as soon as we arrived.

We arrived late evening, but the following morning we discovered that the stove did not light and the water in the showers was icy cold. It turns out the gas cylinder was empty and needed to be replaced. So, we had no coffee or showers before leaving for the day. This was very disappointing on our first morning at Casa Consy. The gas cylinder was replaced later that day after we had left for our day tour. Also, the beds were not comfortable. They could be upgraded.

More attention to linen changes would have been nice.

Stunning views and exceptional location. Roomy apartment with balconies, and plenty of amenities. Greeted by a most friendly host. We would love to go back there.

Bed could have been more comfortable.

The location in the harbour is probably the best you can get. There are 4 balconies with one big one outside the lounge. All offer fantastic harbour and Vesuvius views. The apartment is big, light, clean and spacious Would definitely stay here again.

Nothing really to add here except some small tips and info on the harbour. Maybe just for me would be a toaster as we eat a lot of toast in UK. Other places we have stayed in Italy didn't have one either, so maybe that's a country wide thing? A small tip for the lounge. I would turn the dining table 90 degrees to free up space and move the sofas central to get a better look out the 2 balcony doors. A general harbour issue is the rubbish trucks come round very early, which was a bit noisy, but didn't affect our stay. Note the season ends beginning of November and only a few restaurants in the harbour stay open. Again, didn't affect our stay. A walk up to the main town area provides lots of bars, shops and restaurants to keep you happy.
