The place was lovely clean and comfortable and the Host was very accommodating.

It is on a busy road and just in case people are mobility challenged there are steps to the front door.

"Comfortable affordable apartment"

Lantica Filanda is a pearl located in a small village Cima on the shore of Lugano lake. The apartment is beautifully decorated by small paintings of birds, plants and scenes from rustic life from XVIII century. It has everything you may need and even more. We were allowed to check in earlier for additional 20€ and the owner was waiting for us at 10 a.m. There is a small garden that belongs to the apartment and you can relax close to the lake in summer months. Very nice restaurant La Taverna is just 50 meters away. A small supermarket is close to the restaurant but if you need a bigger one, you have to drive 10-15 minutes. Free parking can be found within walking distance.

The house is located close to the road, so you might hear the cars passing by in the night and in the mornings. The owner wanted to charge us additional 40€ for floor heating but I found out that it was actually included in the price.
