I think it is enough to say that my family and I have already stayed in this wonderful apartment 4-5 times.

We chose the place because it was conveniently close to the airport and had enough room to accommodate five people.

We arrived at 7pm after a long trip, the host lives in the same house and showed us the apartment. The first thing that greeted us when she opened the door was a strong smell of cigarette smoke. Only after we commented on it she started apologising and blamed the previous guests. She could have warned us hours ahead, knowing that the apartment was smoke infused and offered to cancel so we could have found another accommodation. However, she did nothing to clean the reeking apartment nor did she warn us ahead. The apartment has no ventilation. We opened all the windows, went and bought candles and scented oils to dispel the smell. It is Januaty, it was +5 degrees outside! We have 3 teenage children, one of whom has allergies. We had booked for 2 nights and decided to stay hoping to alleviate the smell. By morning I hadn't slept, my eyes were red and throat sore. We left early and avoided returning until 7pm, our flight was due the next morning. I confronted the owner and only got apolgies, no alternative solution or compensation was offered. She blamed previous guests and took no blame herself. We got two horrible nights, headaches and sore throats, ruined clothes that need to be dry-cleaned.

We loved everything. You have a comfortable flat with a huge and beautiful backyard for the visitors. You get a warm welcome and even if you are staying in the same house as your landlord, you do not get the feeling of being viewed or controlled. When you have questions or problems, you get help and support at any time. We went there twice and it almost felt like home! Thank you for your warm hospitality!
