Casa Mami - Luxury Apartment and Pool - Sorrento

1. The hostess Maria was so kind - she waited for us, and showed us all. When we left, she gave us a candy present. 2. Location - very close to the center, shops and restaurants. 3. The apartment was very very clean, very well equipped, decorated and huge - I was so surprised by its beauty and by how everything was considered and been thought of (for example, there was a way to hear music through the ceiling speakers, it all the appartment). There are 2 very big balconies, with everything you need. There was food, snacks, drinks and all washing items you need, including sunscreen and mosquito sprays. There were enough towels for us all and also hats for the pool. 4. There was a pool for all the complex residents - we enjoyed it a lot!

The location was good, the beds were comfortable and the host was nice.

There were ants everywhere. We had to keep everything sealed. Also the shower was tiny and the shower door wouldn't shut so water would go everywhere.

Friendly and helpful host. Proximity to town. Large bedroom. Large outdoor decks. Natural light and air flow.

There’re so many great things being said about Casa MAMI on Bookings.com – and I’m happy to inform, all of it is true. For starters, Maria Pia’s care, generosity and kindness could be seen 48-hrs before we reached. She alerted us about the Giro d’Italia and asked us to book the train in advance to avoid road blocks and crowds from Naples to Sorrento. She even volunteered to come and pick us up from the station. She was available 24/7 on phone and greeted us in person with a full tour of the place. And what a place??? Comfort, class, convenience all in one. Moreover, what’ll go a long way is that she consulted her doctor (on her own) and got me an ice spray as she saw me struggling with my right knee. The apartment had a sense of calm with modern, stylishly picked utilities. The rooms were super comfortable and the kitchen, fully-equipped. Since we were there for 5 days, the refrigerator was stocked with almost everything you can think of. But the talking point has to be the grand terraces with exotic flora and view. It rained 3 out of the 5 days and still didn’t feel like a washout because of the residence. The location was very central – close to the main train and bus station. Close to the beaches, the waterfront and minutes away from the main square, Villa Comunale, shopping areas, eateries, salumeria’s (Macelleria rocks!) and Corsa Italia. It goes without saying that if we are in Sorrento again, we’ll be at Casa MAMI. Grazie mille, Maria Pia.

We had a great stay at Casa Mami with everything we could have wished for. The apartment was very big, had two amazing balconies and we even had food and drinks for us. Maria was more than welcoming and she recommended us a lot of things to see and try around the area. We'll definitely come back if we're ever again in Sorrento, would recommend the place to anyone!

The friendly welcoming service. Our host had thought of everything even offering umbrellas to greet us.

Nothing to dislike, it was a great location, small kitchen and bathroom but manageable.we ate out most of the time. Management of Rubbish can be confusing but Maria our host gave instructions on how to recycle. Be warned it seems confusing but it’s not really.

Maria Pia is a fantastic host. She kindly brought us some nice pastries one morning! The flat is in immaculate conditions, it offers a home for me and my daughter, rather than a stay. Communications with Maria was great, she offered a lot of travel tips and advice. The flat is only a few minutes walking distance from the train station. Fantastic stay at Sorrento, would like to get back to it next time or recommend to friends.
