La Casa dell'Artista - Lake View - WIFI

The location is a little outside of Bellano and difficult to reach without a car. With a car it takes only a few minutes from the center by a steep and winding road, with occasionally dangerous encounters with crazy local drivers that speed along that road. Extreme attention is required, but the journey is manageable. The host was extremly friendly and helpful, replying quickly to messages and sending even videos in order to explain how to get to the house which is a little hidden from the main road. It's a charming old building and the spacious apartment is furnished in a very tasteful way and has all the amenities one needs. From the balcony one has a fantatstic view over the lake of Como. . The apartment was on the second floor and is reached by a steep and narrow staircase, so elderly people or people with big suitcases might find it a little uncomfortable. Despite these small inconveniences I highly recommend the place because of its authentic and very personal atmosphere and the special attitude of the host.

of course the view, that was the best, nice bathroom, the rooms average, but was ok.

There was no shampoo or shower gel. And there wasnt normal wine glasses, but hey, the wview was moore than 100% worth.

We loved the host and her helper who welcomed us very nicely. The appartment was suberbly equipped and comfortable. We were also happy with the service (e.g. garbage removal was sorted out for us). The view from the apparment and from a nearby church tarrace is amazing. The town is lovely and not as overrun by tourists as other locations on lake Como. I would come back to Bellano for sure!

The location is a little difficult to access because it's located on a steep hill around 20 minutes walk from the beach/city centre. However, we enjoyed the walk through the hidden passageways. We were told not to drink tap water which made the stay a bit more complex - but it seems people drink water from taps around town so maybe it was just precaution. Since it was very warm and the whole neighbourhood had their windows open, we could not go to sleep before midnight one night because the neighbour's kids had a party. It is certainly not as bad when you can close all windows.

I loved everything about my stay at Casa Vacanze. The lovely staff welcomed me so well- and were so helpful from the day I booked. We had the communicati- ion online and it was so easy to know how to navigate and where to go. - The view is absolutely amazing - The staff is amazing ( they were so helpful ) - Bed was comfortable - Very big and spacey - The balcony is lovely

- I have no complaints at all. When I return to Bellano I will stay here again, for sure.

The flat is well located in the very nice village of Bellano. Parking was pretty easy. The lake view from the balcony is amazing and really worth it! Last but not least: the communication with Anna, the host, is very smooth and pleasant. We definitely recommend a stay over there!
