Murmuria Taormina

The host was helpful and responsive in terms of organising an early check in for us and he also sorted out a taxi on our last day. The apartment had efficient air conditioning, an excellent shower and was clean and comfortable.  It's just a ten minute walk to the centre of Taormina with its many shops, restaurants and bars. However,  our overall experience was disappointing as a result of the inaccurate listing and for being charged for what should have been included. The host offered no refund or apology after Booking.com suggested I contact him.   For the sake of future visitors I hope Booking.com obliges him to update his description so it reflects the actual layout and amenities.

The listing describes a “private entrance, 1 living room, 1 separate bedroom, and 1 bathroom,” but in reality, the apartment is a single-room studio containing a double bed and a sofa bed— there is no separate bedroom or living area, which I had counted on as I was visiting with my adult son. Do also note that the terrace mentioned in the description is not private to this apartment. During our stay, the terrace was regularly used by guests from another apartment. The apartment is advertised as having a wardrobe or closet, but there was only a small set of open shelves—no closed storage space for clothes so we lived out of suitcases for our stay. Lastly, although the listing stated that linens were included, only the main bed was made up on arrival. I had requested linens for the sofa bed in advance, but they were not provided until later—and then I was charged an additional €30 for them. I believe if a sofa bed is in the description, it should come with  sheets and pillows.

Obiekt zadbany i blisko centrum. Gospodarze postarali się o najpotrzebniejsze rzeczy w kuchni i łazience co bardzo cenię. Bardzo dobrze działająca klima. I najważniejsze to świetny kontakt i pomoc ze strony właściciela! Idealne miejsce na nocleg jeśli Taormina znajdzie się na mapie waszej wycieczki.

10 minute walk downhill to the main part which is beautiful. Lovely bathroom. Great outside area

Very small. A tight squeeze for 4 people & the sofa bed touches the kitchen table when opened. However there is a fridge & facilites are sufficient. I would say this is more to accommodate 2 people

The staff, not very helpful and nearly left us stranded at 5am waiting for a taxi to the airport that they had told us was booked and actually never even booked.
