Apartment is big but cosy, everyone have their place to live and rest, it was a great time

The room with a big bed was uncomfortable and damaged, it was hard to sleep. The gas detector was probably damaged and was ringing whenever plugged in

Very cozy place, good for four people.

There was no spices or coffee/tea

The location

Apartment is good and clean. Very good for families with kids. Good pizzeria bellow apartment and excelent bakery om the corner with local pasteries.

On the day of our arival host forgot to put the key in the key box. The worst thing it was 21h when we arived there after 8hrs trip with 2 small kids. It took them 2hr to organise and bring the keys. We got ruined one day because of thay since kids could not get a right sleep and we end up not seeing everything we wanted. Host never offer to compesate this crucial error but made it all clear like everything is bussines and with not intentions to fix the feeling that they caused. Played till the end like is everything normal. All though apartment is not worth of the money we payed for.

Location was nice, very close to Bus 1 and 10 and just a 20-25 minute-walk to the city centre. A big Coop was around the corner too. The place was spacious and clean and the beds were soft, but not uncomfortable. The windows closed properly and you could not hear the neighbours at all. Getting the keys was easy and communication was smooth.

A bit more info regarding the heating / air conditioning system would have come handy, we had no idea how to operate it. Similarly, there was no info where to leave your rubbish - and we received only one tiny rubbish bag for a week. I did not miss a washing machine, but a toaster and microwave would have been nice. I also found only one smallish glass baking tray, which is definitely not enough if you plan to cook dinner for your family. As the roads are very narrow in Trieste and the buildings are quite tall, the apartment is very dark, but I reckon it is the same in this city everywhere, just be prepared.
