My Shazzy with amazing Sea View terrace

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here – honestly, it was faultless. The view was simply breathtaking; every time we walked out of the door, it genuinely felt like we were looking at a painting. It was one of the most beautiful places we’ve ever stayed. Communication with the host was brilliant from start to finish. They were friendly, responsive, and made everything so easy. I could not recommend this place enough and would definitely book again the next time I’m in Amalfi. 10/10!

The only thing worth mentioning is that there are quite a few steep steps up to the apartment, so it may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues or who struggles with stairs. However, this certainly wasn’t an issue for us and didn’t take away from our experience at all.

It was absolutely amazing! Spectacular views, spacious property!

Die Wohnung ist wunderschön gelegen. Die Terrasse bietet einen traumhaften Blick aufs Meer und auf Positano. Der Ort ist klein und nett, nicht so überlaufen wie Amalfi oder Positano. Die Terrasse ist mit einem Esstisch, Liegestühlen und weiteren Sitzmöbeln sehr gut ausgestattet. Vom Bett aus kann man direkt durch die geöffneten Fenster aufs Meer gucken! Der Gastgeber ist außergewöhnlich nett und sehr zuvorkommend. Er hilft immer sehr schnell bei Fragen weiter und hat uns viele Tipps zu unserem Aufenthalt gegeben.

Es ist nicht so leicht, sich an der Amalfiküste fortzubewegen. Wir hatten einen Leihwagen. Das Fahren auf den engen und kurvenreichen Straßen ist wirklich aufregend und es gibt nur wenige Parkplätze. Die Busse nach Amalfi sind häufig so überfüllt, dass sie an den Stationen in Praiano gar nicht mehr anhalten.

The apartment in Praiano was very spacious, with comfortable beds and everything kept very clean. The village itself is a fantastic base for exploring the Amalfi Coast — quiet, authentic, and beautifully located. A clear highlight of this apartment was the terrace with its breathtaking view overlooking Positano — the sunsets from there were unforgettable. As with many places along the coast, it's important to be aware that there are a lot of stairs to climb, which requires a certain level of physical fitness. In terms of value for money, this accommodation was excellent compared to others in the area. We were probably there right at the start of the summer season (late May), and it felt like the apartment hadn’t been recently or regularly used. While that wasn’t a major issue, we would have appreciated a small welcome touch - for example, having some cold water in the fridge upon arrival. After a long travel day and arriving in the afternoon heat, we had to climb quite a few stairs again to reach the nearest supermarket. Sometimes it's the small gestures that can really elevate the guest experience. While we didn’t expect to be welcomed in person, and the self check-in worked just fine, a personal touch was a bit lacking - perhaps a bottle of water, a coffee pod, or a friendly note could go a long way. That said, communication with the host was very smooth, and the check-in instructions and directions were very detailed and thoughtfully prepared - which we truly appreciated! All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place, especially for those who want stunning views, peaceful surroundings, and a good starting point for exploring the Amalfi Coast.
