Great little place - fully equipped with everything needed for a multiple day stay.

Some knowledge of Japanese housing is necessary - how to use the bath control panel for example. Host could provide English instructions for this.

"Generally cozy but the poor insulation is a bummer."

It's quite a big space for the price.

The insulation leaves much to be desired and I wouldn't recommend it if you are travelling in winter (especially if the temperature falls below 0) as you would need to leave the ac on full blast throughout.

"Convenient and cheap."

Small student-type flat within walking distance from the train station. Quiet neighbourhood so there’s nothing nearby, but likewise it was nice to have a whole flat and be undisturbed. It’s very old and thanks to the humid summer you can see the wear and tear but for this kind of price, I’m not going to complain. Has literally everything you could think to ask for, though.

Could have used a bit more of a clean and vacuum so that I wasn’t quite so aware of those who had gone before.

quiet neighbourhood, equipped with everything you need (even a washing machine!), simple yet clean and cozy. would definitely stay there again!
