Beautiful home at a great location. A quiet part of Kyoto and right next door to an amazing temple. The home was very spacious and well maintained. All of the accessories were there and they even provided some tea and coffee and snacks. Very nice hosts and great communication. There are several restaurants and cafes as well as several temples all within walking distance. Highly recommend!

The property was very pretty and spacious. The futons were extremely comfortable and there were some coffee, water and tea waiting for us upon arrival. All in all it was a very cool trip. The staff was nice and answered quickly to our inquiries during our stay. The property in itself is well organized and is equipped with everything (extra blankets, water, chairs, etc.). The view from the balcony was very nice.

The tv didn’t work properly and there were a couple of bugs coming in (mostly due to the property being in a more countryside location). It was also a little hard to find the entrance when we arrived.

Let me start with saying the host are lovebly and really kind. This was the first time of my friends and I in Kyoto, and Will absolutbly come back and stay more. We extended our stay with the Host when we saw the place, it was INCREDIBLE, amazing bathroom, and great bed, really spacious and traditional, it was a dream come true to be honest. We enjoyed the city by bikes that we rented right outside the house, the host offer us a traditional breakfast that was DELICIOUS, the sweet lady that came to leave us the food was also really kind and explain us the name of multiple things. I really wanted to take a shower in a big bathroom and this place have it, I ABSOLUTLY LOVE IT. Is a place with no much things around, But the MiniStop that is a convenience store was close by going in the bikes, So if you don't mind to ride a little and enjoy the local view, go in bike and enjoy the place, just be careful, the place is in a Hill so take a good rest, i was out breath sometimes, but really LOVE IT. Btw the Washing machine is great and the place have a big balcony, so you can dry your clothes there.

Place is very good. Large, Warm clean & comfort. WiFi is fast. Host is nice & helpful.

I arrive after sunset. It is quite dark near the place. Make difficult to find parking lot & entrance. More lights on the back door should be helpful for visitor.

Very spacious accommodation! Well-equipped too. There is a small oven compartment at the stove which we used for baking frozen pizza. Washing machine available for use (note: no dryer). Walking distance to a few grocery marts. Location is tucked in a quiet residential area (best to arrive by car). We picked this place as we wanted to a) avoid the Kyoto city centre and b) somewhere where we could avoid early morning traffic as we head northwards to Kurama dera Overall, very good value.

Bed sheets were kind of rough.

A wonderful place to stay in Kyoto, at a distance from the city center but easy to access using public bus (line 9 and 50). Not far away from the golden temple and from the overlooked but magnificent Shoden-ji. The best place we had in Kyoto
