Handy to the train station and other amenities. Host was very good and the whole process was very easy.

Its an older building and very spacious, the rooms were large with high ceilings. Most of the floors are the original tiles, my husband particularly appreciated them! The kitchen is very well equipped. The windows are double glazed and if closed keeps any noise out. Luckily it was cool enough at night to close them so we slept like babies. Each window has an independent mosquito screen which keeps those pests out except the kitchen screen which didn’t quite close properly but we were very careful with it and no mosquitos got in to bother us! The location is great, 5 minutes from the train station so great for getting out and about and about a 20 minute walk to the main sights of Pisa.

Generally we liked everything about the apartment, although it needs a little attention as its quite old and some of the furnishings and decorations are a bit worn. When we arrived and walked from the train station we were a bit worried about the neighbourhood but we found walking a street up or a street down was better! We had a problem with noise from a party next door (to the two double bedrooms) on the Saturday evening so one of us went to sleep in the single bedroom but we had also taken earplugs as recommended by a previous guest so we slept eventually( thanks for the tip!). The other nights were very quiet.

- Great host, always willing to help (over the phone, never met her in person). - Supermarket just a few steps away. - Parking always available, however, you have to pay 1,60 EUR / hour. - Huge apartment with a lot of space. - Close to the tower (only 25 min walk).

- Old and used up furniture and equipment. - Full of unnecessary and too personal items, which are useful only for dust collecting. - Really loud AC, only in two rooms that didn't do its job (it was still pretty hot).

Great location, perfect for a family holiday - right near the station for exploring Italy further and 15 mins from main pisa attractions on foot. Plenty of room for everyone to chill at the end of the day. Fully stocked kitchen and even a little balcony.

The size of the flat.

Bad light in the kitchen, flat full of mosquitos (not possible to kill them due to high ceilings, nothing against them prepared) , dirty walls from killed mosquitos, heavy mould in the bathroom (disgusting), very loud music starting 22:30 just below the room, owner was not helpful in any of cases

Spacious 2 bedroom apartment located very close to the central train station and 1 min away from a supermarket. Excellent communication with our host Elisa who also recommended us several nice places to eat.

Squeaky doors, relatively old furniture and poor lightning made the apartment less welcoming than we were hoping for. A coffee machine or a proper kettle could have been useful too. When it comes to apartments with kitchen included I would also expect to find some basic amenities that otherwise you need to buy in bulk (e.g. sugar, salt, pepper, cooking oil, paper towels, etc.) to be available.
