Casa Giulia on Francigena

This apartment certainly has character and original features . It is very local to the restaurants and a few steps from the piazza .

We were not disappointed with anything

Location and the size of the apartment were fantastic. Lovely to have a washing machine after a week of travel. Host was very welcoming and pointed us in the direction of grocery shops and restaurants.

Franco‘s kindness and hospitality made staying at Casa Giulia a highlight of my trip. He really stands out over others in that regard. As for the beautiful apartment and a comfortable stay, I couldn’t ask for more.

Incredible opportunity to stay in a medieval home in the historic center city. Franco and Claudia have made the best retreat! For pilgrims, it is on the Via Francigena and so easy to navigate. Thank you for your hospitality! I loved taking a walk through the city park and seeing the evening activity at the Piazza. Such a special experience to me.

That I couldn't stay longer!

Franco was a very communicative host. He gave us instructions to meet him in the piazza when we got into town. When we got to the piazza, he quickly waved us over. He showed us around the apartment and gave us advice on where to eat dinner. The apartment was perfectly relaxing after a long day walking the Via Francigena, and right on the route. It was clean, comfortable and the design had so much of his personal touch.
