"Basic but good value for money"

Location near the airport gave nice views of aircraft arriving and departing. Quick heating shower and decent wi-fi.

It was tricky to get to even though the location online is correct. It's far from the city so there are limited restaurant, diversion and shopping opportunities. Mosquitoes had their way with me.

"Clean room but could have been better with the advertised air-conditioning"

The room was clean, the host was responsive. Beautiful deco but not overdone. Kisumu is hot and I arrived dehydrated at night to find no filtered water... But when I requested it was fitted to the dispenser promptly. I left some bottled water in fridge for the next guest.

The place was advertised as having A/C which I really needed to rest but did not have it fitted in. Wifi was sketchy, on and off... But that maybe their internet provider.
