Old-New Apartment in Central Kaunas

If you can get past the slightly shady stairwell and 66 steps up to the flat (we did!) - it's amazing. Location was perfect for exploring by foot. The flat itself felt sparkly new from top to bottom. There was a washer, hair dryer, air-conditioning, and fast wifi. There was a great supply of coffee and spices to use if you cook - even hot sauce (what a treat)!

Not a huge fan of tub showers that have shower curtains! But the bathroom itself was clean and water pressure perfect.

A stunning apartment with everything we would need. Perfect location for the city centre.

Only ‘negative’ and it’s a small ‘negative’. Carrying 3 large suitcases up four flights of stairs.

Beautifully designed, very well equipped

There is a traffic light for pedestrians right under the window which you can hear ticking from the bed room when sleeping with the windows open. So I didn’t. Fortunately there is a very good airco!

Extremely clean and comfortable apartment, everything as expected from the pictures. Good instructions for a self check-in with a code, I arrived in the middle of the night with no problems. The location is excellent if you're going to an event at the Žalgiris Arena, it's a 10 minute walk away. The central bus station is about a 25 min walk. There's a small supermarket and a cute shop with rare plants very close to the apartment!

If you have a lot of luggage or mobility issues, take into consideration that the apartment is located on the 4th floor without an elevator. The courtyard is pitch black during the night, and even though there's a light that's activated by movement, it only stays on for a short while so you might need a torch.

Lots of stairs no lift but I did know this before booking. Stair well does not reflect the beautiful apartment

I was left with a great impression following our short stay here. The hosts were super accommodating and the flat is amazing - in terms of looks, location and value for money. If I come to Kaunas again, I'll definitely stay there. And thanks a lot to our hosts for helping us with a late checkout especially since we have small kids.
