location location location we were always too tired to walk to Kyoto station as the local subway station was only a stone’s throw away on a direct line but I think it’s only a 15 min walk to Kyoto station host was very responsive to any queries

the property is misrepresented as having three bedrooms as well as a sofa bed. The third bedroom is the lounge and by futons they meant you can lay mattresses on the floor to sleep (either in lounge or one of the bedrooms) . it had only two bedrooms and the lounge which could be used as the third bedroom the bedrooms had no storage but had some hanging space for hangers but this was not enough for two people per room and there were five of us. I think the property would suit 4 people max. there were no hooks at all anywhere in the apartment so nowhere to keep our towels separate. They all looked alike we couldn’t help getting them mixed up. the washing machine worked a treat but there was no drier. it took 2 days to dry one set of clothing so we couldn’t get all our washing done as planned as it wouldn’t have dried on time my sons had some college work to do one day and ran out of data allowance for the wifi which is capped at 10GB a day. luckily I had pocket wifi myself so left this for them at home and took the home router out with me instead

All good. A very well furnished apartment, it had everything I needed.
