The apartment was centrally located, just a short walk to the supermarket and the old town. It was extremely well-appointed with everything that you could possibly need for a stay. It was very comfortable and clean and, once I found out where the instructions were for the internet, it was a very good connection.

It was initially a bit of a shock that it was 4 flights up with no lift, especially since I had to get suitcases upstairs. Also, for someone who didn't know the area, it was very difficult to find the property at midnight on a Saturday night. I had to approach a group of young men and they helped me to find it. I didn't have a Smartphone, so I couldn't call or email Egle to find out where the apartment was. As I say, the young men I approached were wonderful - a great introduction to Lithuanian people. It would have been nice if I could have met with someone - at no time was there personal contact with anybody. It would be so much nicer if someone could check in and make sure that guests have everything they need, answer any questions, or recommend places to visit. Recommendations were sent on the internet, but sometimes the personal touch is so much nicer. Something needs to be done about the keypad mechanism - on most occasions, it didn't function straight away and when all you want to do is gain access to the apartment and relax after a busy day, it was frustrating and tiresome.
