Cozy Apartment in Kaunas with Free Parking

Lovely sunny, airy apartment, very clean with plenty of space and light. The balcony was a bonus and let in a lovely breeze. The bed in the main bedroom was huge and very comfortable! There was a very handy shop a couple of minutes walk away and the beautiful Cathedral about 15 minutes walk. I had a lovely stay as a solo female traveller and felt very safe and at home there from the minute I walked in. ( I really didn't want to leave )

There wasn't anything I didn't like really, maybe that you have to be careful walking on some of the pavements on the side roads as they're a bit rickety but that's it .. 😊

The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable. It is in a convenient location for a quiet time, but closer enough to the centre that it is cheap and easy to get around. The beds were super comfortable! It was a real home from home feel! The host is very easy to contact and it is comforting to know that he is able to communicate with if anything is needed. It was easy to access and easy to check in and out with the key lock. I would definitely recommend!

Perhaps a couple more utensils would have been helpful, such as more pans and kitchen aids. Also, another fan would have been ideal as there was only one that we kept having to share between room.

The location was perfect. A nice, clean, absolutely safe neighborhood. Close to two supermarkets, some cafes and food places and public transport.

Unfortunately, a complicated, unorganized booking process and unclean apartment make this a no-go. Organization: There were several things that were confusing because they were not well organized by the managers of this apartment. When I made the booking I got a message from them that I needed to make an additional payment of 300 euro that will be returned to me after we leave as a security deposit in case we damage the apartment. The process for doing that was complicated. You went to a site where you had to upload your id, selfie, write a bunch of info. But you didn't get the check in information until the day before arriving when the payment of the security deposit would happen. On the day before the check in info was still not open. I send them a message. When they didn't answer I called and they told me on the phone it would happen at 3. Then they answered to the message saying it would happen on the day of arrival. I explained I wanted to know how to get in the apartment before we are there. Finally, they said at 3. When we got to the apartment there were problems communicating too. I messaged them about help with a taxi and got no answer. They send me a message on the last day about leaving an extra 35 euro there for taxes and I answered ok and asked me what time we leave. Even though I told them they called me on the phone to ask the same thing. There wss just a lot of unorganized communication. Cleanliness The biggest issue was the apartment was not clean. The minute we walked in there was a bad smell. Everything in the kitchen was dirty. The pan had so much grease and oil stuck on it we had to clean and the drawers with the forks and knives were dusty and unclean. We had to wash everything. The sheets in one of the beds smelled realky bad of cigarettes. General cleanliness was a big issue.

Very nice apartment in a great location. The owner of the apartment is hospitable and responsible. Our stay in this apartment was pleasant and comfortable.
