The location is also good with two stops to Sapporo Station. The nearest train station is a 10-minute walk away. It is convenient to rent a car at a nearby petrol station. The rooms were very clean and beautiful. There were two bedrooms, so it was spacious. The living room and kitchen were spacious and comfortable. There is a supermarket 10 minutes' walk away. Restaurants nearby, including ramen, udon and Chinese restaurants. Regarding the hot water in the bathroom, it seemed to switch off after a certain time and sometimes the hot water would stop working, but this was not a concern as it could be used once it was switched back on.

We would have liked to have another set of towels for washing up. We was surprised at how loud the washing machine. The rooms are on the second floor, which made it difficult to carry heavy luggage.

The property is convenient if you have a car (also helps that parking is free on site). The house is reasonably sized and can fit 6 adults comfortably. It is decently equipped and can handle very simple cooking for 2 people. The owner is also very helpful and responsive.

However, it has some significant drawbacks, especially in winter. First, the staircase is quite narrow and could post a challenge for those with big luggages and young kids as the apartment is on the second floor. Second, the toilet is located just outside the main apartment, which can be quite cold to access at night due to the lack of heating. Third, there is no proper heating in the shower/laundry area, which can make it a challenge to use the facilities. Fourth, there are no door locks on the main door of the apartment (the door locks are located downstairs, which serves as the overall security access point), which felt a little weird to me but I gradually got used to it.
