Historic apartment with Wooden floors in the Hearth of Old-town Riga

Location is central to train station, bus station, Central Market, and Old Town. Apartment was spacious, with a fully equipped kitchen.

There is a bar (Piga) 2 floors below the apartment with an outside area in the space between buildings. This funnels the noise right to your windows. We only had one night where it remained noisy late into the evening (1:30am!). Other nights it was just a muffled background noise. Not much the host can do about this just be aware, especially if it’s during a warm spell. The shower is small but water pressure is great. You can see the size in the pictures. Bed is on the hard side.

L'appartamento è in una posizione molto centrale, adatta per esplorare a piedi il centro di Riga, gli interni sono sostanzialmente nuovi, compresa la cucina, la caldaia ed i vari elettrodomestici. La rifinitura degli interni con boiserie è pittoresca e ben riuscita.

Le finestre sono prive di elementi oscuranti e, pertanto, entra luce anche in camera sin dalle prime ore del mattino.

Központi helyen van, jól megközelíthető.

Grate location, interior design, clean, very comfortable bad.

There are no curtains blackout, so we work up with a sunrise. No air-conditioning, we had to open windows. It was very noisy up to 2 a.m. because there's a bar downstairs and it was Friday night.

Will be recommending to family and friends. Thank you for a great stay. So good to have a washer/dryer. The toaster was also appreciated but the most important aspects, room size, bed comfort and shower temperature and water pressure were the most important which were perfect. We spent three nights here and we loved it. Location to everything including bus and train. Great soundproofing, no noise at night. Great host who communicated quickly. Easy access, keyed entry from lock box.

There is nothing to fault.
