Akari House Swiss Bakery

Cozy and spacious at the same time while conveniently located very near onsen. Easy walk to restaurants with food options. Also stocked well enough to be able to cook at home. Summer visit was fantastic!

Unfortunately, the bakery was closed during our stay. We will have to come back another time and try it out. Also we are late sleepers and there was minor noise (early) from the on the stairs by other guests. Minor foot traffic with having windows open at night and onsen nearby. No Japanese toilet.

Cozy little apartment, quite well equipped. Nice ambience.

It's a bit hard to get heavy luggage up and especially down the steep staircase.

Great space and wooden decor. Near big onsen. Nothing is too far to walk. Comfortable for a family of 5 with plenty of space. Beautiful views of mountains.Very serene place to stay we loved it! Kids loved the stamp rub stamp book bought at tourist information Centre - provided a great walking tour of town.

Nothing! But if we had to say something - Beds in bedroom with 2 beds a little hard but my husband loved them. So sad the Swiss bakery was closed during September to miss out on good coffee and breakfast close by.

The bakery on the property is delicious and having a clothes washer in the apartment were great.
