Hakuba Downtown Apartments

The apartment was fantastic, very spacious. Everything near new. The host, Peter, went way above exceptiona in helping us settle in and making us feeling welcome. He helped with restaurant bookings and recommendations to fantastic local restaurant that in no way broke the bank. The location, while away from the traditional restaurant district of Hakuba, was made up for with convenience for transport, being 200m from the train station, 300m from the only supermarket in Hakuba, 200m from the main bus route to the ski fields, and close walking to some great restaurants and bars.

Great location and super easy to get to all ski fields. Great for family’s and easy walk to train and restaurants. Pete went above and beyond to help us out with everything from picking up/ dropping off our bags, booking restaurants and local knowledge of where to go/ best resorts.

Great location near the town and train station. Full kitchen and a washing machine. Modern set up. Lovely view of the mountains. Clear instructions prior to check in.

No microwave. The drying room for ski gear was shared. Because of the snow it was a little difficult to get to the car/clear the snow each morning.

Close to Hakuba train station, restaurants and shops. Convenient location. Plenty of room for a family and good cooking facilities.

Pete was a terrific host for us going out of his way to make sure we had a wonderful stay and trip to the snow. Property was well equipped and in a great location. I’m a big believer in choosing properties based on their review score and this property proved that point!

Nothing really but just recommend upgrading the bed pillows / bedding & providing one queen bed for couples. Minor points though.

I love the view from the apartment! The apartment is very clean and my family love it ❤️ . If your driving, its very close to supermarket and ski.

The apartment was spotless with everything you needed. Most, if not all, utilities seemed brand new. Pete was super helpful and on hand if needed. Help booking restaurants and recommendations made for skiing based on daily weather. Garage bar meet up with other guests.

Mirrors needed in the bedrooms without an en suite.

Apartment was spacious with a lovely view. Had everything we needed. Location was easy to get around. Host was very hospitable and went out of his way to make our stay fabulous.

Really near Hakuba Train Station. A variety of good eateries around. Near to a convenience store and supermarket. Starbucks, which we went to for breakfast on some days, was about a pleasant ten-minute walk away. The host, Pete, gave us some useful pre-arrival information and helped us with local restaurant bookings. Everything was just a WhatsApp away. A spacious field covered with thick powder snow was just outside the apartment for the kids to build a snowman in. Having a washer and a dryer was such a bonus for wet, soggy clothes in the winter.

We liked everything and the only thing we could possibly fault was the lack of a full-length mirror which our teenagers would have liked for their 'fit checks'.
