Macy's Studio Apartment

Nothing good

The facility is poorly managed.

It was a nice space, top floor on a corner. The bed was pretty comfortable, but the usual East African stiff mattress. Macy was communicative over text. The location in Bamburi was good. The Wi-Fi worked well.

It actually wasn't the apartment that I booked, as it turned out to be unavailable for the first of my three nights. On Booking.com, the other place mentioned that it had A/C, and this place didn't have air conditioning (there was a ceiling fan and being on the fifth floor on the corner, there was usually a good breeze...but not always). I had booked partly based on having A/C. Macy said that the original place (Macy's Studio Apartment) doesn't actually have A/C and that she would fix the description. There were a few cockroaches in the kitchen, but you'll probably get that anywhere in Mombasa. It is on the fifth storey with no elevator...I didn't mind, but others might. There could be more pots and pans (bigger ones).
