This was a basement apartment in a central location in Altamura. It was a reasonable price. The facilities were basic but as expected at this price and sufficient for a one night stay. There is a lovely cafe called Svevo nearby who makes superb cakes and pastries. Also, the famous ancient bread ovens of the town.

It was cold in the basement and there is no natural light. We did manage to work the heating. There are a lot of flies around the entrance gate, possibly a problem with drains. The bed was quite hard. Unfortunately, Altamura streets are being dug up, building works everywhere. No pleasant cafes or piazzas. Town streets were also dirty esp litter and dog faeces.

Ms Marta was very kind and helpful. The apartment is very clean in perfect location.

The property is very central to the Old Town. The centre is quite lively but there was no noise and we weren't kept awake. The apartment had everything you needed, enough to self cater if you want. The Town had a real local feel, I think tourists were a bit thin on the ground.

Although parking is listed as available free or pay, you have absolutely no chance of any free parking near the apartment, and the parking meters were a bit difficult to navigate. However go back across the main road and you can park for free in the many residential streets.

The owner was very helpful. Great attention to detail in the decor. All clean and modern.
