"Review viva la Vida"

De host was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Hij heeft ons vele tips en aanraders gegeven in de omgeving. Het appartement was schoon en goed onderhouden. Als ik nogmaals naar Seoul zou komen zou ik zeker weer in dit appartement verblijven.

"A lovely welcome to Korea"

9.0

The apartment was well thought out. The beds were comfortable. We used the seating area every evening after being tourists all day. We appreciated all the extra touches - the bath products & hair straighteners, the granola & milk and instant noodles (jet lag), the massage chair (after all day going around Seoul), just to name a few things. Also, Tony was super communicative, which was great.

It’s difficult to find something to complain about. The aircon in the room near the kitchen made a mechanical sound when it was on, but not enough to keep me from sleeping.

"Super location"

10.0

"I’m totally going to come back. Brilliant and Wonderful <3"

10.0

Honestly, the fact that the host is so lovely, welcoming and reassuring is what makes it. It’s also EXTREMELY well equipped so you can tell the owner put a lot of thought into making his guests comfortable. I grew up in a Mauritian culture where I also have to take shoes off before entering someone’s home so I’m a big fan they do the same, and they provide slippers for that. There’s also brollys at the entrance so if it rains and you don’t have one, then you’re in luck. The interior is well thought out and gorgeous with the art work. The set up with the sofas on the floor too was my literal happy place where I fell asleep a few times 😂 As I came to Korea in the extreme humidity, there are a couple of air-cons which was extremely useful and normally things like that affect my throat but these ones don’t! However, even if you’re coming in winter, there is also a heating system which you can use. The beds are also very comfortable. Also, as someone who is quite a hygienic and clean individual, the system to get rid of food waste and recyclable items is very simple and easy. One of the best little conveniences I discovered in Korea is the simple but genius food waste strainer setup in the kitchen sink. It makes cleanup so much easier! Here’s how it works: there’s a small metal basket or strainer built right into the sink drain area. Over that, you place a disposable mesh bag or a small white net. You wash dishes or rinse food, all the bits of leftover food and debris get caught in the mesh instead of clogging your drain. Once you’re done, you just lift the mesh bag out, tie it up or fold it over, and toss it in the food/general waste bin. It’s such a simple system, but it makes kitchen cleanup way more efficient and hygienic. Honestly, I wish every sink had this especially back in London but this girlie can only dream. They also have bins that separate Bottles & Cans, Plastics, Card and Vinyl outside the door where the entrance is.

Nothing. I do have to add that even though they do not have a washing machine, they are willing to wash and dry your clothes for you upon request so this isn’t really an issue at all.

"Fabulous stay in a lovely apartment"

10.0

Very modern apartment in a lovely authentic area of Korea . The description on Booking.com doesn’t do it justice . Lots of extras , massage chair, clothes sanitiser, hair straighteners, nespresso machine, noodles . Plus lovely modern artworks. The area is great not far from a subway station, historic palace , local food market and a street full of local restaurants and bars. We did find the initial directions to it difficult ( hint use NAVER maps not Google ) but Tony the owner couldn’t have been more helpful . He also provided us with fabulous recommendations of things to do restaurants and the local area. We would certainly stay again if we came back to Korea !
