good apartment at excellent location within 10 minutes walk to Arbat Street with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops around. The owner was extremely helpful during my stay

Bed mattress is old and too stiff and uncomfortable. The towels provided , bed sheets and pillows needs better hygiene as they had some smell.

Value for money! Great location, quite neighborhood, clean, all kitchen necessities.

There was a funky smell coming from the toilet, even though the bathroom was spotless.

The host doesnt speak English well so there was some miscommunication at the beginning which is totally no fault of his. The check in was a bit tricky as you are supposed to call him when you reach and he would bring you there. Do bear in mind to have internet connection when you check in. The property is absolutely amazing. Spacious, clean, cozy and in perfect location to everywhere. The host, Talgat, was very helpful and friendly, would definitely recommend if you are in Almaty.
