The location, spacious rooms, owner’s availability and patient.

The kitchen, fridge were so dirty and smelly. The is not separated from WC so every time you have a shower, the WC is completely wet. In a corner there was a bin with dirty clothes. We called the owner at late night as we got to Anuradhapura late and we needed a place to sleep before heading to Jaffna early in the morning. I booked through the app but realised later on that my bank card was expired. The owners were really patient and understood the issue and we paid at the property even though it was not worth it for the money that we paid just for 6hrs. There’s a lot to improve at this place starting from the kitchen to the toilet. I do not understand why some place are poorly equipped and maintained. No toilet paper at all and thank God I had a couple of rolls with me as I am well equipped wherever I go. The mops they use to clean are in a corner in the toilet and it’s not nice to see at all. Extra mattresses underneath the bed were not covered. The title say “lovely 2 bed apartment” but honestly there’s nothing lovely. Even if you don’t rent your place frequently, keep it clean and well maintained with some modern equipments. That’s how you make more money and show to your guests you truly care about them. Since I got into the place, I couldn’t wait to leave thinking about how dirty the place was. Also when i booked the price was 22£ but at the beginning when the owner sent a kind of receipt all of a sudden it was nearly 30£ + city tax and 18% VAT that they don’t mention therefore it looked like a scam to me. Please be honest or if you charge that much money, you should offer a great service and a place.

This is the 2nd time we stayed here, the property fulfilled our expectations. Everything was as expected, the host was kind and helpful as always. Extreme value for money, could've been easily priced 2 3 times higher. Big thanks for making our stay comfortable.

Kitchen facilities and location are good.

I booked 2 separate bedrooms with airconditiong, but they arranged only one bed room with A/C. Other bedroom hadn't A/C facility. As per them, I only booked one room with that facility and I was confused 😕

Really disappointed. The worst hotel that we stayed at while visiting Anuradhapura for about 12 years. We came to the apartment at 11.45 p.m., and the owner of the place said that there would be keys under a mat, but when we went and looked for them, there was nothing, and after we called the owner, a person came with the keys. We finally got inside, but a key to a room was missing, and they said it was inside a flower vase. It was like a haunt for keys. But we finally opened our rooms and went to bed, and the next day, in the morning, we went to see the city. But after we came back at about two p.m., there was a lady at the bottom of our staircase. She followed us up and told us at the last minute that some other family would be coming to stay here after one hour, and she told us to pack our bags and go. I mean, they could have told us earlier about it, and we would've been ready, but after we told her that we couldn't pack that quickly, she told us to move to the smaller room and get ready. while she came inside the apartment and started to clean the apartment while we were inside, and there was no privacy for us. The service was really bad, and I highly do not recommend this place.
