Amazing location amazing staff very clean

The apartment is tastefully furnished in a stunning location. It is clean, and provides access to a beautiful pool. Porto Montenegro itself is in an amazing location with plenty of fantastic restaurants. The A/C is effective. We were allowed to check in early which we appreciated.

A single roll of toilet paper is provided along with a single 30ml bottle of body wash (around the size of a fingernail). As the apartment does not provide a cleaning service, we asked for an extra toilet roll and body wash at reception, who told us they’d deliver them to our room the following morning. The following afternoon, they still hadn’t arrived, so we went back down to reception and asked again, where we were informed of a 12 euro charge for each toiletry refill. TWELVE EUROS for a fingernail sized body wash and a toilet roll, which probably cost them pennies, and would only realistically last 1 day. When spending almost 1.8k on an apartment for the week, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect toilet roll and body wash to come included. I did message the owner privately on booking.com to say how unreasonable I thought that charge was and they replied that the apartment complex were wrong to suggest there was a charge, and it should have been free. So I went back down to reception to ask if I could have them for free, and they gave me the toilet roll, but wouldn’t hand over the toiletries without €12. I tried again that night and the person didn’t speak English well enough to understand what I was asking for, but seemed annoyed at my presence. I got in touch with the owner again, who phoned the complex, who apparently told him they’d been up and knocked on our door to offer us the toiletries that morning; we’d been in all morning and nobody knocked on so this was a lie. Coincidentally, later that day, someone from reception did come and knock on our room to say that we weren’t allowed to have our towels on the balcony glass as they didn’t like how it looked, but they didn’t bother bringing the toiletries then. We tried 5 times in total to get toiletries. My advice to the owner is to stock the apartment with an adequate amount of amenities from day 1 as the reception team are incapable of being helpful, and honestly seemed annoyed by us. Felt unwelcome.

Th location was not clear on the booking sheet. It did not relate to the building name of Elena. Google maps took me and the driver to another destination.
