Apartment Marko

This place is a real gem, and we loved staying there. Inside the old town walls Mark and his mother created a little heaven. We had everything, even a little garden which we had our breakfast and happy hour drinks, and a direct door to the old town walls overlooking the marina. When we wanted to have a dinner, all the restaurants were a walking distance. Everything was thought of, clean, new and tastefully decorated.

This is a beautiful well appointed apartment that feels like a home as soon as you first walk in. The location is superb. The hosts, Marko and his mother could not be nicer and they are quick to respond to any questions or requests. They live in the apartment below. Marko’s mom even arranged and walked us to a taxi to the airport. The refrigerator had a bottle of wine and some juice, etc… for us. Throw in your own private large terrace and you have just a great place to stay! Grab this one if it is available! Highly recommended.

Marco & his mother are wonderful hosts, so kind and caring. Communication with Marco was excellent prior to arrival and during our stay. He helped with our luggage as the stairs to the apartment are quite steep. The apartment has everything you need, just like home. Location is great. Two steps from your private terrace, through a small gate, and you're on the old town wall at South Gate, overlooking the harbour and the mountains behind. Any queries or local knowledge and Marco was there to assist. Ever wondered what it must be like to live like a local in this sort of environment? This is the perfect place to find out. Live the good life!!

Terrace was so nice, location was perfect it was in the center. It was on the city walls with a great view. And it was so clean

Everything was perfect

Apartment is in a great location beds are comfortable it was spotlessly clean and the couch was a great size for us to sit and chat over a glass of wine or two at thd dnd of a busy day out.

There was nothing to dislike but we would suggest maybe mirrors in the bedrooms on maybe wardrobe doors, we were four women and it would have helped with hair drying and make up options whilst the bathroom was being used at the same time as the one mirror near a socket in the living room. We managed but thought that would be a suggestion we’d make.

Marko and his mom were so helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Everything was so clean and ready for us. The location is inside the walls with a wonderful terrace that overlooks the marina. We enjoyed sitting outside in the evenings.

The only thing that I would let people know is that there is a bar across the street that is open late and plays loud music. But if you are a "night owl" it shouldn't affect you.

The location of the apartment was excellent, right in the old Kotor town with access to walk on the old town walls. It was also close to the south gate where it was easy to walk out to the Kotor town and not far from transport drop off and the main parking lot. It was spotless and clean. Marko was an excellent and very helpful host.

Everything was as described - amazing. Superb location by the Gurdic Gate with everything in the Old Town walkable, yet still quiet in the evenings. Bus station only a few mins walk too to access to day trips elsewhere. Marko was highly responsive in perfect English and his mother was always attentive to our needs. Would highly recommend staying here for any guests looking to stay in Kotor.
