Apartamentai Biržuose, double bedroom and single bedroom Apartments

Nice apartment in Biržai. Well equipped kitchen. Has air conditioning.

It was lovely to have a unit/apartment to ourselves that had a good kitchen with facilities that allowed us to cook at home for the 3 night we stayed there (in Vilnius we had to eat out almost every night as there were barely any cooking facilities - despite being told there WERE cooking facilities - which made our stay in Vilnius more expensive than anticipated). In Birzai, we appreciated having access to a television, although it was tricky to use at first (in Australia, we are used to being supplied with a 'folder/booklet' of information which explains/describes how to use ALL the appliances in the accommodation, including the TV, oven, washing machine, etc - this not only makes thing easier for those staying in the apartment , but means less likelihood of something breaking for those renting out the apartment). The unit was very spacious and had two rooms with more than enough room for the 3 of us. We think that 4 adults would fit comfortably, and there was also a baby cot which we did not use. Our hostess was very apologetic for the noise on the Monday morning, but this was due to workman below which she had no control over. The rest of the stay was very quiet and enjoyable :)

This is NOT a disadvantage of the property but more so a warning - which I might add, the owner of the property DOES openly warn about!! The stairs up to the unit are steep, narrow and have quite large gaps. This is perfectly OK for an adult, but those with young children should be careful of letting their little ones out on the verandah/stairs on their own & any adults/others with walking impairments/disabilities should know that there is no lift or easy access to this property. There was only parking available for one car, although we had two cars between us. This was not a problem, as we parked one car on the street. I remember people in the reviews mentioning a 'busy street'. We stayed there over the weekend, so we did not encounter any noise until Monday morning. Even then, only one of us was affected by the morning traffic/opening of the shop below, as the other two guests had worn ear plugs to bed and heard NOTHING!!

Convenient location and self check-in, close to grocery store

In one room a squeaky floor and one of the single beds seemed to be used too much - not flat, uncomfortable.

A quiet area of private houses; a 20-minute walk from the center (Biržai Castle); a clean, comfortable, well-equipped apartment with everything you need for life and even more (toothpaste, candy, cooking products such as pasta, disposable slippers, etc.). Contactless rental, you receive a message where to get the keys to the apartment.

The putrid smell of the towels, as if they had been washed, but left wet for some time and not dried. Something failed to turn on the induction cooker, as if it was showing an error, but it was not listed in the apartment’s equipment.

Very good location, a quiet, clean, and spacious apartment.
