The accommodation was not properly prepared for our family. The hosts forgot to provide a bed linen for our 9 y.o. son, so in the end all of us had to sleep together in one bed. This made the night very uncomfortable. There was also an issue with the heating. The hosts had not turned it on before our arrival and had not explained in advance how to control it. When we arrived, the apartment was quite cold. It was around +13°C outside in the evening, and the temperature dropped even lower during the night. We only received help with the heating after we asked. The most frustrating part was that when we discovered there was no sheet for our son, I contacted the hosts through Booking.com messages and also tried calling them. They did not reply in writing and they rejected/declined my calls. I understand that it was around 10:17 pm, but when a guest calls at that time, it is usually because there is an urgent problem. Also, they already knew our phone number because we had spoken earlier about the heating issue. Because of these problems, we did not receive the level of accommodation we booked and could not rest properly. I kindly ask Booking.com to review this case and consider appropriate compensation or a partial refund.
