Cookware needs replacing, internet is slow (work video calls were a struggle)

Very clean apartment. Beautiful Bathroom. Well-equipped kitchen. TV in the living room and bedroom. Helpful owner. Hassle-free check-in and check-out. Free parking. Close to the center and the beach.

I absolutely loved this apartment - it is stunning! it was also the best value apartment that I could find in Liepāja. It’s around a five minute walk to the centre and fifteen minutes to the seaside park and beach. It was very comfortable and cosy and very quiet at night. I felt safe in the area. There was Netflix available on the tv and a dolce gusto coffee machine! Probably the best thing about this apartment is the standalone bath!!! I felt like I was at a 5 star hotel!

This is only a small issue, but there wasn’t any communication before checking in. I advised the host through Booking.com that I would arrive between 4 and 5pm. At about 3pm, I messaged saying that I would be there for 4:30pm, asking how to check in and there was no response. I messaged again and still no response. In the end, when I arrived, I rang the host and he sounded surprised that I was outside the building, even though I had given approximate check in times. He opened the door remotely for me. I received my check in instructions after I got into the apartment. It was a little stressful and if you don’t have mobile data, it could be a little difficult.
