Art Design King Bed Studio Apartment In Old Town

The overall room was clean , and comfortable Facilities were OK

Where do I start : Host as mentioned in previous reveiws was poor at replying , when I asked her about access was the night before ( messages ignored ) Appartment (s) in a very very noisy old town ( as previous reveiws mentioned ) . Banging music , stag parties till 4 am impossible to sleep , consequently shattered the next day , and had to attend a wedding ( These rooms could be for younger people only who may not mind . This problem of noise is NOT mentioned , it says 'sound proof windows which is not true at all , it is totally misleading . I felt sorry for a elderly German couple , who will probably like others never come back ! ( not great for Latvias tourist industry ). I have been to Latvia before , as I have friends and family here , and never stayed in such a rowdy noisy area . Totally unacceptable ,as not mentioned , also people hanging around outside . Also the code given for internet , was totally wrong , arrived and was trying to sort it for hours . Consequently couldnt get food after my flight as everywhere was shut ! The next day after trying the password on the router given , she gave me yet another which eventually worked what a mess . I would not recomend this appartment , it really affected my stay this time as they are lying its a nightmare . it is totally misleading . I did ask the host to move to a quiter room , surprise no answer , however she did get in touch to ask me when I was leaving , and to leave the key was happy to go . Which is a shame as I love Latvia please be aware !

Comunication and location

All perfect. The only thing- last night a bit loud in the bar downstairs but from 1-1:30 was ok

Location was brilliant right in the heart of old town Key collection fine Room itself was great with very good facilities and very new /snazzy

Unfortunately as many other reviews have stated, we arrived on a Friday / Saturday early hours The bar below kept pumping out noise until 4am We hadn’t read previous reviews and didn’t think to bring ear plugs so got very little sleep We bought some the next day and the second and third night sleep were fine

Everything was just perfect 👌
