City Inn Riga Apartment, Old Town History Heritage with parking

The apartment is very spacious and has all amenities. Check in was easy with a door code and key in a lock box. We arrived a bit early, but it was OK to drop our luggage first. The location is also extremely nice, unless you plan on living in St Peters church you can not really get any more central in Riga old town. And having a private parking spot only 300 meter away is also a very big plus. But do ask for it at time of booking.

The apartments biggest plus (it's central location) is also it's biggest minus. There are a lot of bars and restaurants around and it was very noisy outside throughout the night. Especially in summer when people are outside and when the windows were open due to the heat. A couple of fans in the rooms might have helped also to cool things down a bit. Personally we didn't mind too much as we sleep well even when there's noise outside, but if you're sensitive to that, it is best to be aware before you go, especially in summer

The actual apartment is great. Very clean. Superbly located for the old town, cafes, restaurants and all the main sights. We'll appointed kitchen. Plenty of room throughout. Little breakfast bar as well as dining table. Very secure. Great instructions from owners. Parking very good.

2nd night (Monday) got no sleep. VERY loud music from bars in the street below until 11pm (11.45pm on the Sunday night before). Then loud people in bars until 2am. Then drunk people shouting in street after that until 3am. Then It rained and the building's gutters must be broken as there was really loud dripping and running water on to the window-sill outside all night, - right next to where bed is inside. (Very loud despite double-glazing). So this was not good at all! So bring ear-plugs incase it rains and if you want to go to sleep before 2am. All this of course NOT the apartment owner's fault, and otherwise the apartment was fantastic - apart from the pillows were flat, which didn't help with sleep issues!
