It was a beautiful house, and it had everything that guests might need.

It was very cold, and we had a hard time heating it.

I recently stayed at a lovely homestay apartment with my wife and 3yo and 7yo, and it was a fantastic experience. Just 70 meters from Lake Ohrid, the first thing I noticed upon arrival was the stunning panoramic view of the old city, with the historic architecture and the shimmering lake in the backdrop. It’s only a five-minute walk to the bustling old bazaar street, filled with shops and restaurants. And the big playground (around 80m from the apartment) is a plus point =) The apartment features two balconies—one from the master bedroom and one from the living room—perfect for enjoying the scenery. The apartment itself is well-equipped to make your stay comfortable and convenient. With a washing machine and a complete set of cooking utensils available, it feels more like a home rather than just a holiday rental. This feature is particularly appreciated by travelers who prefer the flexibility of cooking their meals or those who might need to do laundry during their trip. The kitchen area is functional and allows guests to prepare simple meals while enjoying views of the surrounding landscape. Plus, FREE on-site parking is a bonus with a provided parking card. The host was incredibly welcoming, adding to the charm of my stay. I highly recommend this gem for anyone visiting Ohrid!
