The host was very responsive – I had left my cap behind, and she messaged me herself to let me know. The location was excellent – very quiet and peaceful, with convenient parking. The kitchen had all the necessary dishes, and even some spices were available for cooking, which was a nice touch.

The terrace area had not been cleaned. The TV didn’t have any available channels. Even with the dark curtains, you could still be seen from the street, which impacted privacy. Not the best ventilation. Also, the photos gave the impression that the apartment had a larger surrounding area than it actually did.

Check in was flawless. Expecting a too small space, having read all the previous reviews (we are tall and scandinavians) I was a bit worried, but we were pleasantly surprised. Beds were clean and comfy enough, the area was quiet, so we slept well. We chose this place because it was newly redecorated and renovated, in contrast to a lot of the other places in the same price range. We are so happy we did. Fully equipped kitchen, a small dishwasher. Smart storage areas. Two different outside areas with greenery and furniture (and space to dry our clothes). The bathroom was small, but stylish and the shower was really nice with different functions. The large Windows and both veranda doors have blackout curtains, as well as two types of thin curtains, so it was easy to keep the light and the mosquitos out. Both doors doubled as Windows, so we could get fresh air at night. There was also a fan in the loft bed space. Location is perfect, just a couple of minutes away from the endless beach, so we went sunbathing, swimming, walking and every night we caught the spectacular sunset and went for a short nightswim. Restaurants and cafes are spread out along the beach, but we mostly went out to eat in the centre (about 15 minutes walk). There is also a train station close to the apartment, so you can walk less than ten minutes, instead of 30 minutes to the station in the centre, if you want to go to Rīga or Segulda (our recommendations).

Well, the nearest supermarket is at least a 25 minute walk away. We do enjoy walking, but it would have been nice to get bread, cheese and juice etc. in the morning without that kind of walking distance. The back garden space is located next to the main garbage area, so a bit more traffic and noise, as well as a not so pleasant view. But it did nor bother us much, but it's worth a mention. I have high standards, and I would tell you all of my compaints if I had them, honestly. But I can't think of Anything else. I kinda fell in love with this small apartment

Close to the beach and Dzintari Park. It has the best entrance to the beach, which was not crowded. The apartment features a separate entrance. All necessary appliances are in the apartment. Private parking space available

The view from the bedroom overlooks a dump. Some residents have a habit of throwing out trash early in the morning. The apartment gets very hot during warm weather. It is unbearable to sleep on the upper level in hot weather. It is hot and stuffy. Unfortunately, from the very beginning of our stay in the apartment, we had to wash all the dishes. They were dirty. Previous tenants had left dirty dishes in the dishwasher. The dishwasher was also clogged with food residues from plates and pans.

Excellent location, close to the beach. Very convenient to have a dishwasher and washing machine, plus tablets already there to use. It was very easy to check in and was able to check in early which was nice of the host. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean.

Quite far from a grocery store but I managed. The water tastes really rusty from the tap, perhaps a water filter would help that!

Very cozy flat for small family and not very big people. Near the sea in beautiful area near the forest and park. It was everything, what we need, besides a place to dry wet clothes
